Interphaz designs, stimulates and values collective and citizen initiatives to build together our society around a red thread: Europe.
Who's Interphaz?
Established in 2007, the Interphaz Association is a social and solidarity economy organization dedicated to Youth and Popular Education.
Labelled Europe Direct since 2018, Interphaz encourages debate on EU policies and ensures intermediation between citizens and European institutions.
Open to many partnerships, at the meeting of its audiences, our association goes through many participatory projects where it is « design, stimulate and value collective and citizen initiatives to build together our society, a society with EU values ».

Europe is the driving force behind our associative project, which focuses on three main areas:
- Active European citizenship The aim here is to give substance to this European citizenship, to convey its values and its methods of doing.
- European trade To encourage, encourage exchanges between European citizens at all levels, promote European, binational or multinational networks, develop interculturality and support European twinning and urban networks. These European exchanges are the main vector of European citizenship.
- A green and inclusive transition : to carry on this double major challenge which Europe must embody for its survival.
Our activities are organised around the awareness, information, training and capacity of our target audiences, so that they can appropriate the concepts, initiatives, programmes developed by and around Europe and engage in partnership projects at local or international level.
Our association targets 3 types of audiences:
- Youth Young people, college students, high school students, students who are accompanied in their acculturation to Europe and, more broadly, citizens to lead the debate on Europe.
- Local authorities which wish to open up more to Europe through European partnerships under various EU programmes.
- The world of associations and ESS to encourage and accompany it in its European opening.

The Fives district
Making Interphaz live in its neighbourhood and creating local partnerships to strengthen European citizenship and interculturality (Chaud Bouillon, MRES...) and beyond the city of Lille in all the diversity of its neighborhoods and its animations.
The European Metropolis of Lille
On the one hand, to support the creation of closer links with other municipalities in the territory and on the other hand, to promote the European action of the Metropolis with citizens.
Hauts-de-France region
Especially through an active contribution to the dynamic network with the various Houses of Europe and Europe Direct carried by Dunkirk, Douai, Hainaut, ...
Our team
The Interphaz team consists of two permanent employees. It is supported by the co-chairs, as well as volunteers who invest in the association's activities.
