The Europe & Youth project

Born in 2023, the Europe & JEU'nes project aims to raise young people's awareness of European issues.
The game of 7 families is one of 5 games created as part of the Europe & JEU'nes project.

As a result of the low level of participation by the French, and in particular by young people, in the European elections and the lack of confidence in the European institutions due, in particular, to a lack of knowledge or a lack of understanding of the functioning of the European Union, the Europe & YOUTH project aims to draw young people's attention to European issues.

What is the Europe & Youth project?

This project, financed by the City of Lillehas been implemented by three associations of popular education: Established, Interphaz Europe Direct, and Regional Union for the Habitat of Young People of France. They worked in a consortium and in a complementary manner. Indeed, each was able to bring his own expertise. Established on the creation of educational tools, Interphaz Europe Direct on European issues, the Urhaj on animation with a young audience.

This initiative involves the creation of a set of educational games on the European Union, an event to experiment with these tools for youth professionals and workshops on ownership and use of the toolkit for education actors. Indeed, the three associations wanted to engage in the accompaniment of youth leaders around the mastery of the tool. They were also able to provide a critical feedback on the tools that enabled associations to improve them.
