For five weeks, the Nice European Month 2026 has made Europe live throughout the European Metropolis of Lille through a rich programming, carried by a network of increasingly committed actors. Today, Interphaz publishes the complete review of this edition, which looks back on the highlights, the cooperations put in place and the lessons learned from this collective dynamic.

A dynamic that continues to grow
Coordinated by Interphaz, as Centre EUROPE DIRECT Lille MétropoleThe Jolie Mois de l'Europe 2026 brought together:
- 42 voluntary and institutional partners
- 29 events
- more than 1,500 participants
- 7 events co-organised
- nearly 24,000 views on social networks
- average satisfaction of partners of 8.5/10.
Beyond these figures, this edition confirms a trend observed for several years: the Jolie Mois de l'Europe has become a real area of cooperation between actors of the territory, where new projects, new partnerships and new ways of speaking about Europe are being built.
A Europe in all its forms
The 2026 programming covered a wide range of topics: citizenship, culture, mobility, environment, memory, media and solidarity. Several events particularly illustrate this diversity, such as the Coffee of Europe organised on May 9, the first stage of the national tour of the Liaison Office of the European Parliament in France, the evening Karambolage – Europa Spezial, the conference devoted to disinformation with journalist Henri Dudzinski, Tower of Respect, Circle Singing or Migrants in Europe.
The review also looks at the collective preparation of this edition, the dynamic partnership that made it possible and the desire to gradually extend the Jolie Mois de l'Europe to the whole metropolitan territory.
Partners at the heart of the project
At the end of this edition, 19 partners responded to an evaluation questionnaire. The results confirm the solidity of the momentum:
- average satisfaction 8,5/10 concerning their participation;
- 84 % wish to propose an action in 2027;
- The most notable progress has been in cooperation between partners, strengthening communication and gradually opening up the project beyond Lille.
These returns will feed into the preparation of the 2027 edition in the coming months.
