At the height of the association's life until 2023, the Alternative Travellers' Festival aimed to awaken travel away from the beaten path, to discover the history and culture of other countries, to inform about the types of mobility for young people, to propose alternative modes of travel, to reflect on our lifestyles and to share experiences around the journey.
Created in 2016, the Festival des Voyageurs Alternatives has declined annually in 8 editions. Each year, there have been a series of cinés-debates, cooking workshops, conferences, readings, photo contests, discussions, walks, round tables... all in turn targeting a family audience, professionals or young people.
To build these multiple appointments, Interphaz supported on its many partners : The Universe, the Mosaic Social Center of Fives, The Great Eight, the Sense of Taste, Chaud Bouillon, the Hybrid, the Méliès, the Goethe Institute, the Folie House of Wazemmes, the CRIJ, the Fondation de Lille ...
Thanks to their mobilization, the association has been able to offer a rich and varied programming around a different thread each year: « Travelling differently », « Mobility, mobility: from a means of locomotion to a choice of life » ...
2016 – Focus « Breakfast exchange »
Breakfastexchanges on projects and solidarity issues related to exhibitions « Go to solidarity? » of Ritimo and « 50 years of volunteering » in partnership with CRDTM and Lianes Coopération.

2018 – Focus « Atypical ride »
Explore the city in an unusual way by participating in this perceptive trip in the centre of Lille. Leave your ears to hear the words lost in the air. We say a word in the ear and soon the whole city knows!
2019 – Focus « Travel and soft mobility conference »
The question of travel mobility is fundamental, especially when considering the environmental aspects of this type of mobility. The conference thus proposed to lay the foundations for a reflection on the impact of transport on the environment during the trip, through the cross-examinations of three speakers: Lina de Barbeyrac d'EcoTrail Paris, Frédérique Lamoureux du Grand Huit and Justine Lorthios, who spoke of his experiences of ecomobility.
2020 – Focus "Ffaces and us, words of Elsewhere"
This exhibition is an overview of a collective creation. She suspends the pages of a book in space. A result of several graphic and literary creation workshops, this book brought together the story of 10 volunteers-travellers with varied but always singular profiles. The exhibition takes you to meet these original portraits.
2021 – Focus « The journey on foot – between discoveries and encounters »
A look at the journey on foot as an opportunity to explore the places and its inhabitants. This evening offers you two experiences of walking, one in France and the other across Europe. Documentaries projecting two projects: Travel Us and Two steps to the other by the authors of Further Stories, followed by a discussion with the directors.
2022 – Focus « Kitchen workshop »
Welcomed by the Cuisine Commune de Chaud Bouillon the participants discovered a menu of European specialities with local products, a workshop led by Marion Subtil de Pois de Saveurs. On the menu:
- Entry Portugal & Eastern Europe : bacalhau bolos (cod accras) with sauerkraut salad and carrots with sweet sour and squash seed oil.
- Flat Germany & Spain : bortsch revisited and chorizo rolls.
- Dessert Ireland & Scandinavia : crumble red fruits and buckwheat.
2023
An 8th Festival edition with 3 major events:
- A film-debate about the film Solidream at the Méliès
- An Irish evening at Na Nog Shooting to celebrate the 50thnd anniversary of Ireland's entry into the European Union
- Round table on the consequences of mass tourism and carbon offset
